Courtney is that rare person who hears of a good story and then goes to shoot it – even if the story takes place somewhere as fraught as the West Bank in Palestine. When she heard of a circus school trying to operate in the midst of the conflict, she recognized the power of art as a peaceful protest and decided to see where it would lead her.
