Never expecting my interests in urban farming and documentary film making to coincide, “Plant This Movie” came as a pleasant surprise. Karney had traveled the world in search of all the different reasons people have for growing their own food, and found a wealth of insights. From detailed how-to problem solving to thoughtful views on sustainability, the film makes a passionate case for getting your hands dirty.
